Art Coutansouze is located in the French Auvergne, department Allier. In the vicinity of Coutansouze there are beautiful villages that are more than worth a visit.

Coutansouze is a village with 120 inhabitants located just next to the “Forêt des Colettes“, Europe’s biggest single beech forest. In Coutansouze there are two railway bridges desigend & built by Gustave Eiffel. Furthermore the village has several renovated old laundry areas worth a visit.

Ébreuil, a very nice medieval village along the river Sioule invites for a visit.
Here one finds the “Les Gorges de la Sioule” the canyon worth the while to explore.

But also Veauce, Bellenaves, Échassières, the abbey in Chantelle and definitely Charroux are must visit destinations.
Clermont-Ferrand, Vichy & Moulins are destinations to explore somewhat further away.
